The Most Effective Anti-Viral Cleaning

Solution for Commercial Environments

The React-Air Impact is a portable air and surface steriliser designed for use in commercial environments. Using a UVC technology, the powerful fans drive the airflow through the decontamination chamber, neutralising bacteria, viruses, pollen and odours, delivering clean and sterile air to a room. The Impact is also a powerful ozone generator, which can be set to activate when a room is unoccupied, filling the environment with ozone gas. When the ozone comes in to contact with items and surfaces, it eradicates viruses and bacteria, sterilising everything it touches.

Monitor Air Quality in Real Time

Multiple Impacts are connected via WiFi or 4g, to allow you to manage the settings on all devices through a single unit or through our desktop and mobile app. Real-time and historic data on airflow, air quality, and ozone sterilisation can also be viewed on our desktop and mobile applications. Ozone Release, UVC Times can be set using the UVC touchscreen. The Impact also contains a powerful sensor array that monitors Air Exchanges, Air Quality and UVC Dose. This information is displayed on the screen to give users extra peace of mind.

UVC Light - Neutralising Viruses In the Air

UVC light is highly effective at decontamination because it destroys the molecular bonds that hold together the DNA of viruses and bacteria. UVC light has been regularly used to decontaminate surgical tools and hospital rooms.

The Impact draws air into its extraction vents which are specifically located at shoulder height, so as to capture as many virus particles as possible. The air then passes through a medical-grade HEPA 13 filter, trapping any larger contaminants, and finally through a

high intensity UVC chamber, capable of delivering a dose of over 240J/M3 - enough to neutralise even the most resilient coronaviruses studied.

The high power, variable fan can circulate up to 1504 metres cubed of air per hour - enough to give 9 air cycles per hour in an average 50 person office space.

The Power of Ozone - Advanced Surface Sterilisation

Viruses and bacteria can be neutralised with alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, however, these substances cannot be used on some surfaces, and will only be effective on items and surfaces which can be reached. Ozone gas will penetrate hard to reach areas, fabrics and rough or uneven surfaces. This makes ozone gas a valuable addition to standard cleaning and disinfection practices.

The Impact contains 2 high powered ozone discharge plates which operate as a separate function from the air cleaning UVC technology.

What our customers are saying:

Inbuilt Safety Features for Your Peace of Mind

Ozone can be harmful if inhaled so the Impact can be set, by an authorised user with a password, to be released when the room is empty. This can be set on a timer function and an audible and visual warning is given before ozone is dispersed, with an emergency shut-off feature, should anyone still be in the room. Once the ozone cycle is complete, the Impact switches back to UVC mode to eliminate any trace ozone, faster than its natural half-life conversion back to oxygen.

Air quality monitoring

Advanced Monitoring Technology and

Cloud Based Online Systems

The touchscreen control of the Impact can be used to set fan speed, UVC dose and adjusted to neutralise different types of bacteria and viruses from the air. But the Impact also contains a complex sensor array that actively monitors Air Quality (AQI) and air exchanges within the room it is placed. This information is synced wirelessly with our cloud platform so that information is always available to building managers, across multiple units and multiple sites.

The touchscreen can also be set to display this data. This is highly effective for creating peace of mind for building occupants, delivering air cleaning that can actually be seen in real-time, on each Impact unit. The data is available through our React-Air mobile app and on our online web-based app, delivering confidence that you are meeting your duty of care.

Real-Time Data on our Mobile App and Online, for Monitoring Across Multiple Sites

The React-Air monitoring system uses state-of-the-art measurement contained within the Impact device. Measurements are taken every 10 seconds to ascertain:

Lamp Function and Brightness

Over time, all UV Germicidal Lamps will lose brightness and the surfaces become contaminated by impurities in the air. Once this reaches a threshold, the in-built UV monitor alerts the user that a service is required.

Air Quality
The integrated air quality monitor measures air impurities down to 0.1um. Every 10 seconds, this information is recorded and sent back to the building’s base unit to show real-time air quality information.

Air Flow and Air Exchange Rates
By constantly monitoring air-flow volume through each one of the Impact units, the React-Air system calculates the number of hourly, daily, and weekly air exchanges in your building.

How Effective Are Our React-Air Products Against Covid-19?

Since coronavirus (covid-19) is a new virus, testing products specifically against this strain is only just becoming possible.  Any company claiming that their air steriliser is guaranteed to eliminate Covid-19 must be able to back this up with evidence.  Studies by The University of Boston undertaken in 2020 have shown that Covid-19 is highly susceptible to UVC light.  Japanese scientists have been conducting studies on the effects of ozone in neutralising Covid-19 on surfaces and have shown it to be highly effective with a 90% sterilisation rate.  This information, published by research.net shows the results and effective dosages of UV-C light required to inactivate various strains of coronavirus.

“Table 1 above summarises the results of studies that have been performed on Coronaviruses under ultraviolet light exposure, with the specific species indicated in each case. The D90 value indicates the ultraviolet dose for 90% inactivation.

Although there is a wide range of variation in the D90 values, this is typical of laboratory studies on ultraviolet susceptibility. The range of D90 values for coronaviruses is 7-241 J/m2 the mean of which is 67 J/m2, should adequately represent the ultraviolet susceptibility of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus.”

By using this exposure data, and comparing the UV light irradiance measurements from our products, we calculate the exposure times required to deactivate coronaviruses.  This is however, a calculation and currently is not backed up by laboratory tests.
